A live room may look casual, but the work behind it is real. Performers spend time preparing, maintaining equipment, paying for reliable internet, moderating chat, protecting their privacy and sustaining the energy of a room.

Platforms commonly retain part of what viewers spend. A respectful tip is not ownership and does not erase boundaries. It is payment for time, attention or a performance you appreciated.
